FIRAS & BM TRADA – Certified Company

The FIRAS scheme promotes good practice for the installation and maintenance of passive fire protection products. BM TRADA exists to ensure that the materials, products, and processes that we test, inspect, and certify for our customers are safe, quality, compliant and fit for purpose.

“Already accredited for BM Trada, IWC have also successfully navigated the audit process to attain, FIRAS third-party accreditation, encompassing two distinct schemes: FIRAS Fire Door Maintenance and FIRAS New Timber Door Installation.”

It is with great pleasure that IWC announces its capability to conduct these surveys under two accredited third-party schemes, BM TRADA and FIRAS. This enables us to perform annual safety checks on fire doors and undertake any necessary remedial works, ensuring compliance and certification under both schemes.

Having successfully completed both maintenance and replacement on Fire Doors:

·      Ysgol Bae Baglan, Margam School

·      Bishopston School, Swansea

We are extending our portfolio to include recent contracts secured at:

·      Glangwili Hospital for the Hywel Dda University Health Board

·      Luxury apartments in Harbourside, Bristol, for Crest Nicholson.

These projects involve the execution of maintenance and new timber fire door installations, with services rendered under both FIRAS & BM Trada schemes.

We are now equipped to provide a comprehensive array of services, including 12-month maintenance checks, survey compliance assessments, and remedial works for the maintenance and installation of fire doors.
